diversity & Inclusion @ The Nest

Diversity & Inclusion statement

Diversity and inclusion is something that we take seriously and as such felt it important to make the statement that all humans are welcome and respected when you visit The Next and through your booking process and beyond.

There will never be an assumption about gender, identity or pronouns.

The hut sleeps 2 comfortably, but should you be in an alternative relationship style and wish for more than one partner to stay please let us know and we can arrange extra towels at a small additional cost to cover the extra laundry. Please note the bed is a king size bed.

Inclusion also extends to racism which will never be tolerated and is actively worked against.

Nicky, the owner of The Nest is part of a group called Proud Wellness and constantly striving to create spaces where people feel as safe as possible with ongoing EDI work, and has completed multiple training’s. In addition some of the identities she holds are Queer, Poly & neurodiverse and recognises the privileges she has as a white, able bodied person.

The only limitation we have at The Nest is the location. A bonus is its very remote peaceful location, but it may limit some people with physical disabilities to access it. Parking is about a 10 minute walk to the car across farmland. There are a small set of steps to the deck and then one in to the hut its self. The door to the bedroom is quite narrow and it has a standard size door to the bathroom.

If there’s anything I can do to accommodate your needs, I will always try to, so please feel free to ask anything via the contacts page.
